my journey to IstanbuL

It is not an easy task when you were being sponsored by the university to have a Leadership Exposure of educational trip program to Istanbul. Two months before depart, we had been given few assignments to be accomplished. Assignment which has taught and required me to communicate better with other, teamwork, responsibility upon the task given, important of strong bonding as well as to be more respectable person. In order to ascertain the assignments given, I must subjugated with all requirements. Once one of the requirement missing, the problemation arose. As a team, the adjustment needed to make it back to normal and whereby everyone feels happy to work as a team.

Alhamdulillah. I am safely back from Istanbul. The city was phenomenal, the people were nice and friendly, everything was outstanding there. Nonetheless, I would not forget the purpose of this trip, which I can benefit the university, friends and myself. It almost I come back from Istanbul, and how I benefit the trip to my friends are through sharing with them what I have been experience on my trip. I also told them about issues that cannot be purchase and experience through books. Apart from my story I touched on how the bilateral relationship between countries affected the hospitality and friendliness between citizens of home and host countries. For example of what I had experienced at Grand Bazaar, between Turkish sellers and Malaysian buyer, the treatment we received was so nice from the sellers, and most of them knew Malaysia, surprisingly, there were numbers of sellers who can speak few Malay words. When the first time we heard them, we were so astonishingly surprised and proud to be Malaysians. Up till now, we are very delighted when we reminisce how Turkish seller willingly to learn Malay words. As a political science student, I justify that, the bilateral or multilateral relationship between countries is truly important in maintaining peace and harmony of the countries in global arena. Furthermore, how my educational trip program is benefit my university is through the universities visit which we had in Istanbul. There were three universities we have been visited, Yalova University, Fatih University as well as Istanbul Technical University.

From these three visiting experienced towards the university, I had identified the development of technological usage provided by the universities, as well as the achievement made by them. They had conducted many researches, whereby most of the research not just benefiting their university, but also benefiting the country. As Malaysian, and IIUM student, our university is leading towards research university, as Turkey is among one of the OIC members, IIUM and universities in Turkey should collaborated together is sharing the knowledge, specialist and point of view on how to achieve the level. Indirectly, both countries have strengthened the Islamic bonding between nations.

In conclusion, as I still allowed to breath in this earth, I will strive myself hard to be successful Muslimah which I can make a better change in this country and not in impossibly throughout the Muslim world. As it can bring the glorious of Muslim period like we used to have in the past.
